Waffle Irons...

Waffle Iron.

I would love to find a waffle iron like my folks had when I was little.

It was either a GE or a Sunbeam. It was wide. The waffles were 4 panels, all in a row. I believe the plates could be removed and flipped over to use it as a flat sandwich grill.

Has anyone ever seen one of these, or know its vintage?

That sounds like the GE Launderess suggested to me. There are quite a few out there but they are surprisingly pricey.

Thanks Matt! In my previous searches, I could find nothing. I tried again, and it was a Sunbeam! Now to find one...
