I was in Walmart the other day and noticed that it now has its own Great Value brand powder laundry detergents. I had never seen them before. There were two varieties: a lavender scented one and another scent that I can't recall (fresh something, I think). I noticed that the Great Value liquid detergents are labeled HE, but the powder detergents are not. In light of comments I have read about Walmart scaling back on powder detergents, this seems like a good sign.

For anyone who shops at Walmart (I know many don't), has anyone tried these?

Thanks.

Ive sniffed the walmart deters before...didn't really like them. Interestingly I did notice they have at my walmart traditional boxes of Purex..not concentrated at all...a little bizarre for their new green intiative. A huge box that weighed nothing was $3.00

great value detergents

Howdy howdy i have checked them out if you sniff them they smell alike tide p&g makes them for walmart and sams clubs own it does say that on them .I also targets own brand of dishwasher detegent that says compair to cascade that i found work the same also made by p&g. thanks john

p&g makes them for walmart and sams clubs

P & G DOES NOT make anything for ANY one but itself.

Has anyone used the Kroger brand in the square plastic bucket? It's $8.99 with a Kroger card, powder works well, low sudsing, sheets and towels have a light wisp of detergent scent, similar to hotel laundry. The Kroger liquid is okay for dark clothing, but i like liquid Cheer. alr2903

I tried Wal-Mart's "Green" brand once. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't outstanding eiter. It ws cheaper.

So if Sun makes it for them, is it the same as ALL?
