Thanks to Airsled, the lineup is in place. Question: Can a gas line be safely extended using 2 of these hookups back to back just for the wash-in?..(don't want to blow up the house!)

If done right! Just make sure to join the sections with a black iron or galvanized coupling and use a good pipe joint compound to seal the threads. Test all connections with soapy water from a spray bottle and you should be good to go. Test the connections on the dryers too, before turning them on as well with the soapy water. SAFETY FIRST!

Extending a gas line
I always just used an old garden hose when we tested dryers and ranges, did this for over 20 years.
However I can't recommend this, you can temporally use two flex connectors but it is not code to do so.
We bought a bunch of outdoor gas grill connectors that are around 10 feet long, these have a nice quick-connect coupler that has a shut off valve in it so the gas flow stops when it is disconnected, the only problem with the grill connectors is that they are intended for outdoor use only.

I would need to see your setup behind the machines.....but why not just tap into the existing gas line with a 'T', and add an extra port(s) as needed?
I would have thought of putting the Neptune to the far left, mainly for gas and venting.....but this works too......

Make it out of iron pipe and permanent.
HD can make pre-cut pieces of pipe. Is this pipe going out to the garage too? I can look at it if you want to. Do you have extra 220 dryer outlets too?
