Yikes. As much as I'm all for energy-efficient machines, this one would stomp all our fun right into the ground! Interesting, though. Wonder what will ever come of it?
I saw a film back in junior high (around 1972) in which clothes washers and dishwashers of the future (the year 2000, which ironically, is now the past...) would not use water, but rather ultrasonic sound waves to clean.
And where's my goddam personal jet-pack?!!

I get those yucky underarms now, thanks to my environmentally-friendly and "efficient" front loader. It might as well be washing with air, based on the results I've gotten! Bring back the water hogs please!

Yow!, that could give water conservation a bad name. On the other hand, for a colony on Mars, not so bad!
Really though, I think the machine does use water, just not much; and the ozone function is supplementary as a means of sterilizing the load.
These things are new technology, so it will take a while before they settle down entirely.

I can see the "Waterless" washing machine for good wool suits mens/ladies and then a three or four times a year dry-cleaning, (assuming a suit is worn every day to work).
But for undies and t-shirts?
