An old Lavamat

Great thread Toggleswitch, I just love looking at pics.

All my pics are in my photo collection so I won't bore you with them again. However, I have come across this old pic of an AEG Lavamat. Does anyone know much about it?

A friend of mines mother had one and it spun at 800rpm and had a quiet induction motor.

Just kidding! I am looking for a harvest gold window lid for a frigi resto project. That machine looks a bit rusty at the bottom though..Maybe it should be parted out..Hmmm.
