Water leak?

I would love someone to tell me what is going on with my 1 year old washer??? I use this only for towels or bedspreads anything large. My wringer does the rest of my laundry. I have been having a water leak on and off ever since I got the pair last year. The model is a Kenmore Elite front loader model number is # 796.41572210 Serial # 402KW7H2A837 I took photos to show the problem. Thanks again for anyone who can help!!

I would pull it out and remove the rear panel and watch during a cycle as to where the leak may be coming from.....

was just working on a similar LG, and had to remove the top to find the hose from the dispenser to the tub had a pin hole in it....took a while to catch it in action...

Quite sudsy. You might want to check if these suds come out of the tub vent. There should be a cover somewhere along the back top. In certain conditions, water and suds could spill out there.

Suds is coming from the vent. Are you using HE detergent? Towels can have body / dish soap on them .

I am willing to bet that the leak is coming from the vent like Martin was saying. If the washer load is sudsy , it will come thru the vent in the back. It's designed to do that. I would feel the back where the vent in is the center and see if the back wall of the washer is damp. If it is, there is not much you can do except change your detergent.

Problem solved!!!!!

I can't believe you people solved my problem! The person from Germany said the back vent that's where it Is comming from!!!! I had a service man out here twice he could not find anything wrong. I do use HE detergent Tide I use no other additives just Tide HE unscented version. I will try another detergent any suggestions would be appreciated. This doesn't happen often but it does happen. I wonder why the vintage front loaders like Bendix ect never had HE detergents or special soap back then? If I had to buy again I would get a Speed Queen top loader. I Again say THANKS!!!!!!!!! For all your help this site is great hands down!!!
