I apologize if this has been addressed here before. I was unable to find any answers while searching the archives.

Does anybody know of a way to adjust the water level height on a Whirlpool DD T/L? I would be ecstatic if I could find a way to get another 2 or so inches for a full load. Right now, the water does not even touch the top vane of the "Super Surgillator".

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply.

That's what I've been doing. I was hoping for something a little more automatic.

unplug the machine and remove the screws for the top, pull forward and tilt, there should be a screw on the water pressure switch, turn clockwise to raise the level, just do it a little at a time, hard part is you have to drain machine and refill to check the level, but once you get it there, it will always fill to that level.....I just did this to my KA DD I just got....takes no time at all...

Now....find the screw and adjust clockwise to raise the level....just remember it will adjust all levels perspectively....check level after each adjustment....when finished just re-assemble

the KA is 13 years old....never knew of any that is non adjustable except for some new FL....even my digital Maytag and Kenmore Limited can and have been adjusted....who knows, maybe its a government thing about water conservation, so we don't tweak them?

Well that was easy. It's filling much better now. I'm kind of embarrassed about this whole thing. I mean I flipped open the control panel and that little offset screw was staring me in the face. It's not the first time I've had that panel open. I should have seen it sooner.

Thank you yogitunes. Your willingness to help should be an inspiration for all of humanity.

Not a problem....that's why were all here.....to lend a hand

anything else, let us know, we all been there at one time or another, staring US in the face and we don't see it, it happens

something like short term memory, I was putting in my contacts the other day, and put both contacts in the same eye, DUH!, one eye is clear and the other is blurry...I mean it's not like I have 100 eyes......oh!, did I forget number 68 again.....lol

Like Stevie Wonder would say "So Easy, Anyone Could Do It!"....lol

We just have to laugh at ourselves once in a while....

Like having guest stay at your home overnight, and in the morning they mention that they had to borrow your soap, doesn't bother me as long as you realize the LAST thing I washed with it and the FIRST thing you used it on....think about it!....lol
