Anyone know of a manufacturer of a small waterproof LED flashlight? I want to view the inside of my kitchenaid KDS18 while it's running, but it's a bit too dim in there to get a good picture with a piece of viewing plexiglas in place. I am figuring I can place a few small LED flashlights in there while it's running to make the inside visible while all the action's going on.

You could also use a fluorescent work light in a zip bag with the cord going underneath the plastic at the door. If no room for a cord, a fluorescent battery lantern in a zip bag.
There are also weather-proof bulb sockets cords and fittings available that you should be able to rig up a nice, bright light.
I have the display panel and light kit for a KitchenAid 18 series dishwasher and the light is simply made from these hardware store parts.

I have a 4aa cell "Streamlight". Waterproof. $29 tho. Keep it in my geocaching bag, it works really well.
The waterproof
socket/cord, and a severe service bulb is what our intrepid Robert/Unimatic 1140 used for dishwasher pictures, with a Plexiglas for the door.
I think that would be the least expensive and best solution.
