Website-Idea: Limited uploads to central YouTube account

So I know the development-team of this site has verry limited resources, but if you would ever plan on adding a feature in the future, I'd have an idea:

I have recently seen several people on here posting that they would like to upload videos to this site directly.
I suppose however the limited webspace on here makes that impossible.

You could offer the option to submit videos to be diretly uploaded to aw.org's own YouTube channel.
If you monetize that channel you would have one further source of income.

You could either implement a direct-to-youtube upload system or a system that first downloads the videos to a user that then checks them for copyright etc. and reuploads them.
You could limit that feature for certain user or user groups as well.

Copyright management for that would be easy (there are lots of premade agreements online that allow for the total transfer of copyright of videodata to another entety) and it could increase traffic to the site.

Adding an option to link somebodys YT channel in their profile might be an option as well.

Just random low priority thoughts.

Thanks Henrik, not a bad idea overall, something to keep in mind for next year.

Yes this is not possible with limited disk space available to the site.

Yup the "team" is consists of little old me and that's it, lol

And I for one appreciate all that "little old me" does! I would be lost without a daily dose of awo.

Feel obligated to say that you changed the life of me and so many others and I don't think we could ever truly put in word or action what this site means to many of us.
