1954 models, predates FilterFlo by about a year.......This is the two belt transmission washer double pully clutch........BOL washer........

Glad you got them Graham, I know you will take good care of them and give them a good home.........

Very rare GE's. Can we see an interior shot and a close-up of the timer? I think this was the last model before the introduction of the filter flo in 56.

Graham, after you and Rich left I remembered I have the owners manual for the washer in my stash of manuals. Will dig it out and save it for you the next time you visit...... Jimmy

Awhile back i got another GE dryer that i think is the next

Compare and contrast the two dryer styles. I actually like the BOL dryer better. It has a more unique door and latch.

The dryer you got from me Graham, has a two position heat switch, HI or LO. The other dryer you posted a picture of, which is a slightly higher line model has a variable heat control, similar to a 1955 Filtrator dryer.

Congratulations Graham! Your collection is growing by the day! <:

My mother had the same model GE dryer. I recall a drawer on the bottom that had a screen inside it. The drawer had to be pulled open, then you simply lifted the screen out and brushed it of with a lint brush that came with the dryer. The dryer was still in use when I left home in 1973.

Graham, could you please post some pixs of the washer and dryer interior? Would love to see the steel dryer drum again, and very much want to see what the washer basket looks like.
Thanks!
