The booth with the 2electric frypans with copper lids....
is owned by Lori and Dennis Trishman....I know them from the D.C. Big Flea...there prices might be a little higher than some but they really take time to clean up there merchandise before they put it out for sale. I bought a real nice Iona Blender from them at the last Big Flea for $45 and it is in immaculate condition. I highly reccomend doing business with them if you see something in their booth you like. I love antique/flea malls but like you say the prices are always primo. Still in all they're not there as a charity and the stuff is usually cleaned up. Plus you're unlikely to see the very rare but always seen everywhere ubiquitous red West Bend electric wok. LOL.
I think all flea markets etc should have a sign out front
No red West Bend electric Woks allowed"
I LOVED this kitchen table set! Look at the chairs!
So far, we haven't gotten pix of any of our goodies other than the blender/mixer, but we'll try to post a few after we get home.
We saw Paul got some cool Corning Ware (see the platter thread) but did anyone else get out this weekend? We don't see many good estate sales like the ones that you guys find stuff at!
I managed to get out on Sat. morning, and went to the only sale in town. Found a harvest gold Oster perc, and a white Sunbeam electric knife. Both were kinda grungy having been stored in the basement, but cleaned up very nicely.
