I just looked up the weather reports for both Raleigh and Motntreat from the weather channel.. Weather reports look the same, but the news said snow for tommrow.. Huh??? Who knows what the weather will do

Too hot in Florida

Today temp here in Central Florida was about 80 degrees,sunny and breezy.
I wish the colder weather would arrive so I can use the gas fireplace =(

I was in Lake Mary and Melbourne week before last for my son's wedding. The weather was GORGEOUS! It feels soooo cold here now.

It's 28 here now. Spoze to get to low 20s. Was icy this morning, stayed home. Still misting outside osme.

33°F on car temp about 8 PM when I left the office. One of the banks along the way also reported 33°F. My bedroom was 60.6°F at that time, LOL. No rain or mist at the moment. Brisk wind.

I heard on the local news that this is the coldest spell for this time of year in this area of California in at least 50 years.

Whatever happened to global warming? One might ask. But I suspect this is just a blip on the general trend towards warmer global temperatures. As cold air comes south, perhaps even more warm air is going north.

No ice...nothing, nada, zilch!

We still have a fighting chance...saw on the elevator TV they are now calling for snow....it's so close, yet so far away.

It's bitterly cold down here with that wind blowing. Feels like 28*.

Oh, and BTW sudsmaster, also on the little elevator TV was something about what you said about global temps.

More Southern trees are migrating further up north and thriving, while northern trees, that expect longer cold periods are stressing out, because of the lack of longer winters. Just thought I would share that little tidbit of info.

Carol, it's 28 here. Been raining, sleeting, and snowing since 7:00 am this morning as well as some snow during the night. I"m at home to be safe. Now can you see me trying to walk on ice?

Snow

Its is snowing, cold, 18 degrees last night, and we have now on TV Round the clock covreage of it. Showing us overpasses, cars stuck in the snow. I feel like we are in Alaska, not the land of the eternal fall rain.

No ice here last night. I think the low was 34°F. The heat pump ran continuously all night, which is what it should do under the conditions. It defrosted at least a couple times, I imagine. I saw it once, "steam" wafting away. My bedroom was 71°F this morn. No rain thus far today, but I've heard there should be some tonight, and slightly lower temps.

I thinnk my heat pump has run almost ocntinuously, or close to it. The vas majority of the time, it's been in low-speed fan & compressor modes. In fact, I am so unused to hearing the fan run, that when it has kicked into medium-low or medium speed (particularly), there were a coupimes I thought it was raining outside. But I have been extremely pleased with it keeping a steady 68 degrees. with my old heat pump, that temperature was just too cold because of the quick cycling on & off. But with this variable speed one, I have been very comfortable. Thank you again Jon LeFever for the testimonies from 2002 convention.

Its roughly 70 degrees here at the Extended Stay America in Raleigh (BF is moving to a bigger place)... NIce and comfie with the Wall unit "Motel" style Amana unit.. We had off/on showers all day, but we where able to get his saab running
