Greg, I have had some tangling issues, but nothing that didn't come undone as I was unloading the machine. And as far as failure to spin, not a problem! I have had quite a time tryng to figure out how to divert the fill however! First thing I tried was a piece of flat plastic... YIKES! Water went not only in the tub, but on the floor, ceiling, and all over the BD Kenmore next to it! Next I tried a piece of plastic with a half-inch lip around it, I managed to keep the water in and on only the Maytag Neptune TL, however, it was still spraying all over the control panel and of course, there was a stream aimed at the only seem between the panel and the top of the machine, so I took it out and gave up. I now simply close the lid so it rests on my magnets and let it fill normally, then open the lid as soon as the water shuts off. The downside to this is that I'm still getting used to when exactly it starts to spray water, it does a spray rinse going around... 200RPM? and I keep missing that and showering myself with water!
So far, my only complaints are that the machine has a really hard time turning over small and medium loads and also that it does a spray rinse after the final rinse rinsing away all of my fabric softener!
