I love what you have done with the new place. I too remember being in that basement in all it's fabulous "Hooverness". Such a great collection!

All of my kids are presently in storage while my parents redecorate the house. Hopefully soon i will have as great a presentation as you and Jeff and Tom have! Marty

Fred,
You have such amazing sense for detail. The display is so weel balanced and it must have taken a lot of planning to make all the shelving to display the tanks. I am a died in the wool Lux fan, but snuck a Hoover WT Self propeeled into my cleaning arsenal and it is a valued friend. Thanks for sharing, but your collection really sucks!!

Hey Y'all...

Thanks so much for the kind works! They really mean a lot!

The cans along the beam in the top picture belong to my father... he used to work at Continental Can Company, in Milwaukee (while in college)... and they are old 3-piece soda and beer cans. They had a machine that turned the cans into a bank (put a lid on it that had a slot in it)... and he's kept them all of these years.

:-)

Fred,

You really did a fanastic job with your Hoover display. I wished down south We would have basements but We don't. In New Orleans some of the old homes have a above ground basement. but no where else in the state do any of us have basements. Your display looks very professional.

Fred that picture is just amazing!! It is easy to see that you have put a huge amount of time into setting this all up. Just looking at that first picture makes you want to walk right in!! Thanks for sharing. Terry
