It has been a crazy couple of weeks - my father had a serious heart attack and a quintuple bypass (yikes!) so I have been spending less time than I wanted on the kitchen in Ogden.
However, this weekend, we finally got around to adding the 'finishing touches'.

The bottom plate of the washer has been cleaned up and re-installed - still needs some paint touch-ups, though.
I also hung up some vintage ads for appliances (turquoise, of course!) as decorations - I love the Frigidaire 'Sheer Look' ads!

And the dining room fixture has been changed (for now) - I spotted the most awesome fixture in an antiques and collectibles store in Montreal a couple of evenings ago. It costs and arm and a leg, but I want it!! Stay tuned...
I decided to display some of my coffemaker collection in the dining room - they seemed to be the best fit for the shelves!

But wait, there's more!

I am working on a Powerpoint show of the evolution of the ultimate turquoise kitchen that I hope will be amusing. I just finished the first part yesterday (getting the slides and music I picked time was a challenge...).

And again, I must say thank you to everyone who helped me out with this project! I coudln't have done it all without you!!
