About when was this machine made? It doesn't look like the residential Laundromat at all so perhaps it was made by another company for them? I got to get this ad to the Westinghouse Museum!

This was a true Westinghouse machine. A laundry near my house just replaced them about 2 years ago, so I bet there are a few still kicking out there.

I had two non metered a number of years ago

The were very good washers . I think from around 71 or 2

NeptuneBob, there's a Westinghouse POD with a two-tone washer from the late 1950s which looked pretty similar to this in terms of being "boxy" as well as the door/window. But this one as for the home. One of its "features" was the timer could be placed on the front or on top of the machine via a remote attachment. I bet Tomturbomatic knows the one I'm referring to.

Reason I say I wonder if it was outsourced is that this machine has the button on the left to pop open the door and that it looks generally like a |N|O|R|G|E|washer that I used once.
