Thanks so much Robert for posting that commercial. I had never seen that before. They really were a good little coffee maker and made a great cup of coffee. Thanks for the memories. and as Betty would say, "You can be sure if it Westinghouse". Terry
That was cool Robert.
I see those every now and again in thrift stores.
I love the end of the commercial where Betty talks about the Big $1.00 off.
Man, the value of the buck has really changed since then.
Thanks for the video.

I used to have one of these coffee makers and I have to say they were the best. I have never had another machine that could ever match the taste of the coffee! It lasted for over 20 years.
Wow, that's great to see the original tv ad for this. I was only 3 at the time so don't have any recollection of it. My earliest tv commercial memory is the one for the RCA Victor Color TV which also used a little cartoon man dancing around singing "Wow we gotta color tv" and another one for a car dealer in Detroit that went someething like "get on the right track to 9 mile and Mack".
Thanks for posting it.

From the broadcast equipment point of view-love that RCA Image Orthicon camera. In my transmitting tube collection-have an RCA Image Orthicon camera tube that was used in such a camera. They used three of them-one for each primary color.GE cameras had 4-one for luminance and the others for each primary color. Those camera heads were real BEASTS!All tube as well. They gave good pictures though-setups were lengthy.
I hadn't even check the little perc out to see if it worked or not so I just did and it does. Remarkably fast, I put in about 2 cups of water and it did its firt burp in about 15 seconds. Don't have any regular grind coffee or beans at the moment to give it a real taste test.
