What brand?

Anyone know the brand?

I'm taking a wild guess (it looks like there's lettering on the stove underneath the Coke sign).

Gibson? Tappan?

I'm pretty sure it's a Gibson. I think that's what the name says, and it looks a lot like the early 50's Gibson some friend used to have.

Looks like Gibson to me as well... Me don't think those white knobs look original though.

And those knobs ARE correct, I have the ad for it somewhere,but the Chromalox units are replacements, the originals are much thicker.

Is that in Canada? One of my friends had a newer one that was a "Gibson Fairbanks Morse". She liked it and she even named her dog Gibson!

That's a Gibson - everyone was pushbutton crazy in the 50s!

Pushbuttons were more modern looking than dials.

The knobs are the same as on the one my friends had.

I've never seen or before heard of any appliance having the Fairbanks-Morse name. I associate them with motors and pumps.

Its a shame that ranges with a timed electrical outlet have disappeared.  What a cool option...
