My mother swears by Dawn, I swear by any of the citrus scent varieties of Ajax or the good old fashioned green Palmolive. Those are the only two that shall grace my kitchen sink!
Presently for the dishwasher, we use Finish Quantum Powerball tabs. They seem to work the best in the PlasticPride GE dishpisser. It's not the worst machine in the world but it's certainly not the KitchenAid it replaced, nor is it my dream machine, a Maytag JetClean!
