I posted a little while ago about getting a vintage gas range: https://www.automaticwasher.org/cgi-bin/TD/TD-VIEWTHREAD.cgi?89301
I'm pretty hot for this Tappan, and will be looking at it early next week. Seller says it was in a second kitchen and not used often - it does look pretty clean, especially the lovely chrome. I've found someone to pick it up and someone to install it, but so far no luck on someone checking it out and possibly cleaning the burner valves. (I read that was a good thing to do.) Regular appliance repair people don't seem interested in checking it out at all. Does anyone here know someone in St. Louis who does this? I would definitely get a new flexible gas line for it.
