What's in the Box????

As Monty Hall would say... "Would you like to keep the money or go for what's in the box?" I want to go for the box, but what's in it has yet to be revealed. I say it's a GE COMBO.

Come on, Reveal what's in the box.....

Dennis

Well....

If we don't see it pretty darn soon... I am NOT gonna look until tomorrow! WAAAAAAA!!! I wanna SEE it NOW!!

Well I think we're all pretty positive it's a GE Combo (I know I am), but could it be a square-window or round-window machine?

Only time will tell :)

JET

I get up this morning to see what it is and no picture! Half the damn members have hang overs and the other half don't have any finger nails!
Maybe Jet was busy looking out his windows when he seen a flashlight lurking the woods! I almost had the 58 Westinghouse dryer but a coon was chasing me through the woods (forgot to take the damn beef jerky out of my pocket) Maybe I'll have better luck tomorrow!
JET! WAKE UP! Post the picture please!

YAY!!!!!

When's the washin????

Getting jumpy and excited. I got miles of videotape to shoot of that Blackstone and the GE Combo.

I'm glad I live in Massachusetts now.

Beautiful Jon!

Jon,
This was so much fun!
That combo is beautiful! Looks like you have a heaping load in it also.
I have seen a repair master for the GE combo's and saw this one with the raised controls like yours. I did not know that they actually produced them. I would say yours is quite rare.
What year is this from.
Very happy for you.
Thanks for the fun.

What a beautiful Machine Jon, Now we want some details, where did it come from, what's its history,...questions, questions. This was fun, thanks for sharing. Terry

Beacutiful washer Jon, Boy I bet its fun to watch! Hope to find one someday even though I dont have any more room for another combo. Congrats on your new washer and enjoy!

GE Fan

Congrats. What a fantastic find. I just love GE washers and what a cool control panel this one has. It is amazing that at one time companies would produce these types of products in such small quantities.

Today, when GE needs a frontload machine, just rebrand someone elses.

A little more history from the golden era of US made appliances saved.

Enjoy!
