More Powder for the Buck????

A few people were buying PUREX powder at my store and at $3.22/per box it seemed like a real bargain until I realized how LIGHT those boxes are!

I should have known a brand that was selling detergent in a large box, would put a rather small amount in it, but then maybe I should buy a box of it & see...

I just remember big boxes that had big amounts, but the last few powder'd detergents I'd bought really got all caked-up at the bottom, anyway, so I realy want to stay w/ liquids...

Oh gosh....

Quite simply, I'm a Levers boy...and I'm not fussed if it's OMO, Drive, Surf or (preferably) Persil...

As far as I'm concerned, all three local detergents clean well and I just love the smell of Persil - always have.

I still have the box of Sears Ultra Plus (orange) that I bought probably about a year ago, and a large bag of Mexico formula Ariel (with phosphates) I found at the Grocery Outlet a few months ago. They both work great, and I love how the Ariel creates a good amount of suds during the wash yet the rinse water is crystal clear. The Sears of course creates very little to no suds but the wash water is pretty dirty showing me that it too cleans very well. Never had a problem with stain removal with either one and I do like the scent of the Ariel. I also like the Arm & Hammer with Oxy Clean formula. Great scent and awesome cleaning.

Foca is my favorite detergent; it must have phosphates in it though. Gary

Foca with phosphates is a good one! not too heavily scented either.
