Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Any one in Robert's collection.

I especially covet his Philco, his Apex, his Kelvinator, his LK (PANK!), and the SuperUnimatic. (grin)

In all seriousness. If I could have my choice, my favorite would be either the Philco or a 56 Unimatic... like the one only a fool would love...

For me, it's a seasonal thing.

This winter, it was the 62 Multimatic which I was able to use because the garage didn't freeze.

And the Easy

which I have loved since I was 5, and because it's so much fun to have the drain open and filtering during the wash.

And the Lady K

which normally moves out of the kitchen for the winter to make way for the 56 Unimatic, but this year she stayed with all her clicks, clangs, and soft, jet engine cruising sounds. Thanks for asking--cool idea.

My favourite one?

I have said this before and will say it again - The hotpoint Aqaurius WM64 is the very best machine you can get, Well one of them, and I am still looking for one. Spin Speed: 1200RPM. Load = 5KG. Built in 1997-1999, these machines were the last of hotpoint to be built to last.
