Dunno about youall, but I'm getting a little tired of all the negativity around here. Now we're on to getting beat up in school.

Enough already!

Let's try a more positive tack, shall we?

So what's your SO's most endearing trait? It's okay to get gushy.

Since Honey's the closest thing I have to a Significant Other, I'll say her most endearing trait is that she often sleeps with her tongue sticking out. I guess she just wants to be ready in case something tasty wanders by.

Little Veggie Sunshine

LMAO!!!

Veg thats hilarious...I hope my neighbors don't hear me laughing!

Jack is the closest thing I have to a significant other, he's probably my most endearing thing...he really knows how to be cute too.
The picture was taken when he was about 5 months old, and its totally unposed.
thank goodness the camera was handy!

Oh yeah, the funniest thing he does is BELCH loudly after eating, which usually makes me ROFL...

Gee Veg, just talking about some negative things that happened isn't that bad. It's part of the balance of life, and those stories helped me understand how fortunate I have been.... However, let's see, my ex's positive traits.......he had impeccable taste, threw a mean party, was incredibly smart and savvy and could charm a mad dog off a meat wagon. And because he basically had the soul of a child, kids loved him.......

SO's most endearing traits?
Forgives, Forgets and Overlooks and humors me.

...and when he sometimes can't/doesn't, my mother-in-law actually points out my good side to entice him to get over it! (Ai como me gusta mi suegra).

SECRET?
When she had her kitchen gut-renovated and was without one for three weeks, years ago ealy-on in my relationship, when Rob lived with her:

1) I cooked meals and froze them in aluminum take-out dishes.
Suitable for reheating in her toater-oven. (IIIR even her nuker was dead at that time).

2) Sarcatic tone: ULTIMATE torture --- LOL --- had Rob bring all their laundry over to my machines. [Full-sized in rental apt.. LOL].

Toggle- Domesticated yet wild Greek god.
LOL- *MWAH* *MWAH* *MWAH* Kisses hand and arm-- "I love me with all my heart" .. LOL LOL LOL

Ahhh I get it...

My ex had his good points too:
He was very well mannered, Emily Post well mannered.
He set a beautiful table.
He could plan a party down to the smallest details.
He had impeccable taste in clothes, and never went anywhere looking sloppy.
He did his best to rid my closet of old worn out stuff and fill it with nice new stuff.
One time he called me from the mall, Express was having a sale, and he wanted to know if he could buy a few things and put them on my Express charge. Since we both wore the same sizes I told him ok, and that he could spend $250. About 45 minutes later he called back and put the store manager on the phone so I could give her my charge account number.
I didn't ask the total...never occured to do so...
Jason came home with 9 bags full of stuff, all of it nice.
he spent $750, maxing out my card.
I almost fainted.

No significant other, but...

Baby Lizzy (the Shelley Winters Persian) sleeps rolled up like a big cinnamon bun, displaying surprising flexibility for a creature of her age and weight.

Angus: Yup, I agree with you. I could tell some stories that would curl your hair. But why? As Glenn so eloquently put it, "Been there, done that, details not for public consumption." We started out with the "How Irritating Is your Spouse" thing and now we're working on "How Many Times Did You Get Beat Up In School." I'm just trying for a little balance here.

Louis--Oh, yeah! Matchmaking a Specialty. For everyone but me, alas.

Beth: Phblbtblbtblblt!

Mine says I'll be home in a minute. That can be anywhere from five minutes to three hours. Oh you said the most endearing? That is it!! Just kidding.

He's OK. I guess I'll keep him around a little bit longer. He is crazy 'bout me. Oh there it is, his most endearing trait!!

Oooh, Chach, that reminds me of the old Geritol commercial: "My wife...I don't know how she does it. Cleans the house, cooks the meals........
I think I'll keep her."

Try to get away with THAT today!

veg (who has no endearing traits)

Wife most endearing trait. She lets me have my eccentricities(sp) and doesn't try to change me.
