Who is Making Them?

I am curious as to who is making them for GE. I saw one post perhaps somewhere in China? If anyone knows, please post. If they turn out to be a quality machine, they could really re-align the pricing for the deluxe front loaders.

I was told by Chuck D.

they are not an LG product even though the Harmony line is, I was told they are made in China. I really like the styling on them can't wait to see the tub inside and hear it run.

Does anyone know if they are using flat motors??

I wish I could see the interior of the machine. I would be able to than tell if realy is LG or not! If not LG than what brand is it realy?

GE Adora front loading washer and dryer

The washer interior,dispenser and boot are so similar to the Duet/HE4t/Ensemble and Bauchnecht but GE reps sware they (the new front loading sets) are absolutely made in China by a firm owned and operated by GE.They wouldn't give me any names but I am sure once they roll out that one of us is going to grab one to dysect and find out the real truth about this mystery.

I believe the manufacturer for these machines is "Little Swan" a Chinese concern.

New FL

I did a little research on Google and looked under Little Swan washers in China and only found smaller FL washers and TL that had seperate spinners. I will try to do some further research and see if I can pull up one of these big babies. It's gota be somewhere. I still think LG because GE is in with LG but we will see.

Dimensions

In case anyone is interested in the dimensions of this machine, I went to one of the web sites listing it and found the dimensions to be:

H: 41.5"
W: 27.0
D: 31.5

How does that compare in size to the Duet? It is 3.5" taller, the same width and 1/4" less depth.

I got the dimensions for the GE from one of the web sites that has listed it for sale. Interesting enough when I went to GE's web site the only front loaders they are listing are the old Frigidaire-made units.
