Okay I'll bite, what exactly is wrong with those GE electric pumps? I've used them for decades in my custom builds and not one has ever failed on me. I've even run them for 15 to 20 minutes at a time for recirculation without any issues, although they are not suppose to run for that long without a rest.
The Hanning Elektro-Werke pumps are good, they got all the bugs worked out. It is was original Italian pumps that were junk however, they are very noisy and loudly gargle at the end of drain. They vibrate and are very poorly balanced causing anything its mounted to rattle and vibrate. Garment fibers / lint would get wrapped up around the impellers and bog down the motor. They frequently leaked with time due to the weak shaft seal. If anything hard got caught in the pump the impeller would just break. I can think of a dozen other pumps that are much better designed and much better suited for a washing machine.
I know you've used some of these, they are great for the cost and personally what I would recommend if looking for an electric drain pump:

The one you linked are the ones I've generally used. I believe I only have one pump with an external fan like in the image you show, although I've had no issue with it as well.
I'd change that one Italian pump to a Hanning, however considering its only one pump and the washer is what I assume low use you could just leave it as is.

I’ve used the T model and newer GE top load washer pumps in a lot of things as well. They have worked very well. I don’t recall every single one fail.
The bad ones were the ones you pictured with the fan they had a shaft seal that would fail and caused the bearing to lock up. The fan itself would also come off sometimes it was just pressed onto the motor. The motors on those got so hot that the fans would just fall off you’d find them in the bottom of the machine.
