Today at the local Habitat for Humanity store (Phoenix), I purchased a built-in Jenn-air double convection oven to replace the nearly identical Jenn-Air double NON-convection oven orginal to the house (1997). It is in like new condition, and for 70% off the $188 marked price (for an unbelievable $56, with 30 day warranty!!), how could I say no?
The appliance person said they pulled it out of a local house during a remodel...
I noticed the serial # tag of the one I bought is marked as Jenn-Air, Indianapolis, IN (model WW272190W), while the existing model in the house is marked as Maytag, Cleveland, TN (model WW27110W). They are nearly idenical in appearance (except fot the 'convect roast' and 'convect bake' buttons, so it will be an easy swap, but I am suspecting the 'real Jenn-Air' model is a couple years older?
Any one know when Maytag took over?
