Since all of this political stuff has gotten us a little uptight, I thought we could wax nostalgic and post a few favourite pics.

Find something that takes you back to when all you had to worry about was getting home for supper! As Archie and Edith would say...."Those were the days..."

I'll start with a pic of my sister and I showing off our cowgirl outfits (please note the Superskates strategically placed on our boots). See, I was practicing to be a Texan long before I became a Texan! ;-)

Do you feel the tension releasing? Now, breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Feel better? I do.

Good idea Venus thank you. Boy look how cute you are as a cowgirl! I'll have to find some old ones of me later to post.

This one's for Gyrafoam!! Remember this place?

Here is an Easter pic of my sister and I in front of the Lincoln Road Mall in Miami Beach. You could never tell that we fought like cats and dogs! I'm sure I pinched her shortly after the photo was taken (yeah, I was that kind of kid).

hi venus....thank you for the great pictures...i enjoyed them...on another thread, i stated that my vintage washers bring me back to a kinder, more gentler time.....ross

I owned one of those cars! (The Pontiac Phoenix version!)

I had to add a quart of oil....every four days.

Other than that, I guess it was fine, lol.....

Here is my brother and I. I am on the back of his fire truck. This was taken in August of 1960 I just turned 2. My dad was stationed at Fort Knox Kentucky. The quarters we lived in had a GE filter-flo washer and matching electric dryer, I do not know the model but I do know the activator top and filter pan were the GE peachy-orange color and the GE garbage disposer was the same color scheme.
