Whirlpool 675808 impeller kit installation

Hi everyone. I've got an Inglis IHU98051 dishwasher that I'm trying to install the Whirlpool 675808 impeller kit into. I've got everything disassembled down to the motor seal, and had to break apart both the wash and drain impellers to get them off. The problem I'm having is now with the drain seal. I'm not sure how the new one is supposed to go on. It also looks like there is some sort of a white spacer on the motor shaft that I don't know how to get off. According to the instructions I found at https://secured.whirlpool.com/Servi...20d0030640f85256ab000567212/$FILE/4322455.pdf (sorry for the huge link), on page 9, dis-assembly step 10-c, the seal is supposed to pry off, but I'm not sure how to pry mine off because there is a metal part of the motor shaft above it that I don't think this white spacer will get by. I've attached a picture of the bottom of the assembly. I don't want to take off the pump base if I don't have to, because I don't have the pump centering tool and am having a hard time trying to find one. I do want to replace the seal though while I'm down there, especially after pounding on the impeller with a hammer and chisel. Can someone help me?

OK, so I've found out that the Whirlpool equivalent model to my dishwasher is a DU920PFG. The URL above is a pump very close to mine, with a few differences, one being mine has a valve stem. More searching finds parts diagrams of my pump (ex: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=255680&diagram_id=77392#d77392), and I can see that I did get the right impeller kit. So how does the seal come off/go on? Is the metal disc on my motor shaft part of the old drain impeller? Should I just install the drain impeller and re-assemble everything and forget the seal?

That shaft looks pretty rusted.....you will have a hard time installing a new drain impeller and wash impeller. Your best bet is to replace the entire motor/pump assembly. More costly, but it drops right in from inside the tub.....you don't have to move the d/w from under the counter.

As it turns out, I have the wrong kit. I needed to order part number 8193524 for the right kit. Not to mention I posted the wrong part number for the kit I originally got-it's 675806 and not 675808.

I also found out that the metal disc is a washer and it along with the white "spacer" is part of the old drain impeller, so I will have to remove that and then will have full access to the old seal.

As for the rust on the motor shaft, it's not as bad as the out of focus picture makes it look. I'll close the door switch, start a Cancel/Drain cycle, and run some emery cloth on the spinning motor shaft-that should shine it up nicely.

Well, I got the second rebuild kit, but ended up having to use both kits to get all the parts that I needed. The 8193524 kit had a different drain impeller than the 675806 kit, even though the pictures look like they should be the same. I could have used just the 675806, but it didn't have all of the gaskets and seals that 8193524 came with, and while everything was apart, I wanted to change them all. First time I ran a rinse and hold, I started to hear a rattling sound when there was water in the machine. After taking everything apart again, I found a few small pieces of the old drain impeller that I'd chipped out and missed while cleaning up. Removing them and reassembling, and the noise is gone.
