So I just bought this whirlpool calypso off my good friend who i trust... I've used it before at his place and its done a great job.. He recently had to replace the control board. He also replaced the pump and the water inlet valve thinking thats what the problem was, but it ended up being the control board.
so, i get it all installed in my place go to use it. I load it and push "normal Load" then start.. the water kicks on for maybe 2 Secs then kicks off. I can't get it to fill any longer than this.
It just had the Control board,Pump, and Water inlet valve replaced, I don't know what the heck is wrong with it and I need to wash cloths bad! Does anyone know what is wrong with it or can give me any ideas of what to do?!?!

most times when replacing boards, you have to replace both, if you only replaced one, it may have transferred the virus to the new board....and your back where you started...

did you put it into 'test' mode and manually try all the functions?.....

another thing......try unplugging all the plugs in the control board, and let set overnight, then plug them in and re-try......how many days has it been unplugged....sometimes they build a static charge, and must be left unplugged for a few days, then it will run fine....also, leave it unplugged when not in use....some are a little tempermental....

is there any error codes displayed?.........

will it spin or nutate?.....

Access diagnostic mode:

With the machine off, press in turn:  Soak --> Cycle Signal --> Soak --> Cycle Signal

Display should say "dt" (diagnostic test)

Press Water Temp once, should hear a relay click and display goes to "00"

Press Soil Level twice (directs the incoming water flow through the detergent dispenser -- each press of Soil Level changes the flow through the bleach, softener, or detergent dispenser, or the fresh water spray)

Press Water Temp to run the cold water, warm (hot & cold), and hot to test the valves (the lights indicate what valve/temp is active, press again to turn the water flow off)

Note that the water WILL NOT run if the water level pressure switch is satisfied, if the operating water level is reached.

Press Extra Rinse to run the pump in drain mode. The pump can drain while the water fills to keep it drained so the water level switch doesn't trigger.

Extend Spin runs the pump in recirculate mode.

The pump won't run with the lid open, must be closed.

Press Cancel to exit diagnostic mode.
