They are exactly the same
I'm sure the ''corrosion resistant springs'' are just a marketing ploy. Sorry if I offend anyone but I feel the need to speak my mind here. It is a total ripoff to buy a Maytag made after 2006 if you ask me. Even if the quality was not great, Whirlpool could have improved the designs or came up with new ones. Whirlpool should have done better with Maytag. Instead all they did was close all of Maytag's washer/dryer manufacturing facilities and put thousands of people in small towns across America out of jobs and then go on about American pride in their Maytag commercials. That is exactly why I will never buy anything Whirlpool. It's such a lie to put the Maytag name on a Whirlpool appliance, with not one thing different mechanically from the Whirlpool models. The lowest form of advertising/corporate trickery. ''Maytag'' commercial technology my a**!
