Any Interest?

If no one wants this one either, I think Rege will scrap it, too. C'mon guys, everyone wants a washer with suds saver, right?

Wow My mom had one of like that when I was a kid, it reqired service several times (flooded the basement twice) so she replaced it with Speed-Queen.

Growing up, a neighbor across the street from me had an almost an exact replica of this washer. The only difference was theirs had the shorter chrome lid handle. I don't know if it was a suds miser model. In addition, my grandmother had the 24 inch version of this washer, no suds miser, or water level control, but otherwise exactly like it. I hope this finds a home.

Have a good one,
James

Rich -

I have a model which I think is very similar to this in storage, however I doubt mine is a suds model.

I VERY MUCH hope someone can rescue this gem. If they don't, please let me know before it goes, as I may be able to use the timer for mine. I'd have to find out if suds timers are interchangeable as they were in late belt-drive production. The timer in my machine trips the breaker the second I plug-in the machine. I have not investigated it any further however, YET.

I believe this to be a 1965 machine, as is mine.

re- timer for Gordon's in storage...

yes, that would be GREAT if Rich's friend Rege could at least salvage that timer for you, Gordon. While not a match to my 62 Imp Dryer I would like a complementary washer like it - some day, with your skills to give her the ol' onceover first of course (I'm not in any rush, as patience is one of the virtues of (most!!!) AW folks :-)
