Maybe I am behind here, but saw an ad this morning for a new White-Westinghouse washer and dryer at a local chain appliance store-did not know the name had been brought back for major appliances.

Just a Frigidaire

I have seen them as well in a couple of places. They are just top load Frigidaire's with a White-Westinghouse nameplate.

Re: White-Westinghouse:

Are these actually available in the USA for new purchase still? What Dealer's, Discount Stores or other Appliance places carry them?

Would actually like to see the Console, Tub and Agitator of them, as compared to the Frigidaire's, to see if there are any or much difference, as they used to have in the past. I wonder if they also have the Front-Load Washer as well?

Peace and Interesting W-W/F Washing, Steve

How things can be so different...

In Australia, Westinghouse has always been popular, but now under Electrolux oversight, Westinghouse is being pushed as a premium brand.

Check out the website for the full range of Westignhosue on offer, complete witht he vintage Westinghouse logo!

White-Westinghouse is currently a "bargain" label sold through independent dealers. Same deal with Gibson. A plastic Frigilux by any other name...

White-Westinghouse

Did WCI stop making White-Westinghouse appliances for a while? That's what is sounds like readiing this thread.
