Post up your winter water tap temps!

Current tap is 63.6F (phone is playing a new game of refusing to let me rotate pics 😡)

Ran a load of cold water wash in the HA806 and wanted to check tempering valve operation and verify it's still functioning accurately all these years later. The valve is set for 85F, it's adding 22.2F to execute that setting. My love affair with that valve hasn't weaned the slightest in nearly 20 years. LOVE IT!20251223_133756.jpg

I ran my kitchen faucet for a minute and stuck my accurate digital Taylor meat thermometer under the running tap....
48.3 degrees
Now, Dan, how bout taking a nice cold shower in my bathroom?
The thought of that is making my genitals crawl into my throat 😆

You need to add tempering valve on that Maytag washer, nothing is getting clean at those temps! Even warm probably isn't breaking into the 80's.

LOL!
Ahh... Dan, thanks but my Maytag's doing just fine.
Warm or Hot are the only selections that I use. (with my "warm rinse" turned on)
