Here are some pictures of our newest baby. We got him for free. The woman that we got him from got him for her husband who passed away two weeks later, and she works and didn't have time to spend with the dog.

His name is Jobe,I call him JoJo for short.

Oh boy Jim I think you are in for some shenanigans with this

in the second to last picture I swear I see a twinkle in Jobe's eyes that says "My new master's life is going to be anything but boring now that I have arrived!" I can understand why you took him in......how can you not love a face like that....ecspecially one that seems to be brimming with so much personality. Is Jobe a Jack Russel Terrier?....PAT COFFEY

He's a Rat Terrier, and a little terror, not even afraid of the vacuum cleaner, but he's fun to play with and a little snuggler at night.

JoJo is too cute! He Looks so happy and well adjusted with the family!
You Kitty Baby Velvet looks like my old 23 year old cat Toby. (
You have a great family there....and lot's of work to go with it.
Thanks for the pictures and congratulations on the new member.
Too Cute!

My great-aunt Helen had a rat terrier also, his name was Tiny. He wasn't afraid of anything except thunderstorms. When it would storm he would hide in her front hall closet. He was a big cuddler. He's been gone 35yrs, and I still miss him.

What a great addition, I am happy for you, they creep into your heart no matter what little terrors they can be, it's all part of their personality....I just had to put one of my siberians down, but still remember the day I brought her home in the palm of my hand....the joy of pets in your home, and how they respond to your every word is a treasure....

enjoy and post more pics....thanks for sharing

Welcome to the family!

I love the picture of them together. The cat has that look of "Why the hell did I get tossed into this picture with the dogs?" LOL

Terriers

are usually very high energy dogs. My former neighbors the Colemans had a Fox terrier named Spanky. He was so wound up when he was young that I always called him Wild Dog. When excited, he could jump up and down three feet off the floor. The vet gave them sedatives to calm him some. He was a very smart dog, and they said he could tell time. In the evening he would go look at the clock, and if it didn't show 10:30 pm (his bedtime) he would stay up, and then check it again. When the time rolled around, he would go lay down. When one of them would play the piano, he would howl along if he liked the song, but if it was something he didn't care for, he'd go in another room. Don't know if they still have him or not, as he would be almost 16 by now. Some other friends have a Rat terrier named Maggie, who doesn't jump around so much, but she sure likes to bark. She can see the mail carrier coming clear up the street, which starts her barking, and she will continue until he's out of sight, unless they take her to the basement. I think she could use a sedative, too. Anyway, have fun with JoJo, and hope he won't wear you out.
