Found this during some "intense" googling!

Now... I wish this world used just ONE voltage/Frequency arrangement AND that I was closer to this bundle of joy. Apparently, she's lightly used, but the the heater coil doesn't look so...

Only $100 - me wishes I lived a lot closer to the states!

Looks like it's in the San-Diego(ish) area, not as far as NY if I was interested.

On a side note, does anyone here know if it would be possible to rig one of these up on 240v?

I've never seen pictures from the inside until now

So, isn't there a middle spray arm?

@chris74

Nope, no middle sprays arms. According to members on this forum though, even without that spray-arm, you will get great results 99% of the time (especially if you are a AW.org member - normal people might not). If you notice the saucer rack in the middle of the bottom rack which is raised, it is because of a not-fully retracting wash-tower.

I think one of the best reasons these worked so well is the multi-orbit wash arm, which means the wash-tower would have moved forwards/backwards and possibly side-side whilst the lower arm was travelling around.

This model was also great as you could really put some customisation into the cycles you selected (i.e. Potscrubber, Light Soil, Energy Saver Drying, Sani On, or Normal, Normal Soil, Heat drying) - and you could see what sort of energy use to suspect.

I'd be betting that if GE came out with a towerless (maybe) model today, they'd achieve huge success, since you'd get active readouts on the energy use!

On a side note once again, does anyone know which model was the 240v export? Since that'd be what I was looking for, if ANYONE in this country (apart from aw.org member rapunzel) had a GE2800...

By the way chris74, below is a link to a thread about the GE2800, in case you hadn't seen it already.
