Yikes!  Wonder how (ok, why...) they did this.  I've seen fridges and dishwashers repainted (and I am guilty on both counts) but not stoves.  Is it even safe to apply paint over the original finish?  Unless of course they had the whole unit re-porcelained....

If it's painted, they did a nice job. That would go with Ben's repainted Frigidaire refrigerator.

They painted it to keep up with the times.  I hate it equally as the Frigidaire that Ben has.

It only looks strange in Avocado because we don't expect to see it in such a color.

If they didn't abrade the porcelain enamel before painting it, and the finish wasn't damaged before, it shouldn't be too much trouble getting it back to the original color.

It looks kind of sloppy, I mean they painted over the hinge plates and also over the convenience outlet and oven indicator.
