It's just a lemon or orange fragrance,there's no real lemon juice in it like Sunlight used to have,should be no problemo!

I don't care for cleaning or other products that have any type of citrus scent but I  have the lemon Finish powder and we are not talking about P&G over the top fragrance that flies into the room while the Dw is running.  If anything you can hardly smell it in the box and there is no scent on the dishes after they are clean.  - One of the reasons I like the Finish and jet-dry products--little to no after scent.  I don't think there will be any increased harshness to the glasses or dishes as a result of the scent...now days everything is all fake anyway..

Electrasol Fan

For years I loved Electrasol.

I really only prefer powders and for awhile, the Finish Powder was Awful. In a previous thread, there was a discussion on Drying Agent which I don't care to use.

Well, I was using Cascade and bought a New Finish Powder and WOW. Right back to Sparkling Glasses, Flatware, and Plates without Drying Agent. Works Great in all my machines. Thank God something has changed for the better !!!

This Finish powder is making glassware and silver shine SO MUCH MORE I think,due to the fact that it does not have coating agents in it like Shine Shield that leaves things "filmy". I cannot stress how MUCH better this stuff is. Now, being the phosphate junkie that I am, I may order some STPP from The Chemistry Store just to see if we can do even better! BTW,some Finish formulas do have shine shield type ingredients in them, but this powder does not!

The current Finish/Electrasol  powder is a different formulation than the previous which I still have.  The previous relied on Chlorine bleach which worked, but not always.  This current formulation has no Chlorine bleach and no phosphates but  contains enzymes just like the tabs.  Maybe not be as effective as tabs with rinse aid formulation, but please note that even if you use a tab with rinse aid "shine" the box may say that you still need to use a separate rinse aid.

 

So this Finish without phosphates that most of us are talking about is a new formula.... that seems to work very well.

Put the PowerBall Tabs to the test.

Friday night I had brats and baked beans. Brats was done on a broiler pan and was burnt grease on it and dried on beans in the pan.. - came out clean!

Yesterday, was my 40th b-day party, and we had two small roaster pan and worst of all the two crock pot that has the dried on chili/grape sauce for the meat balls and mini links. -That as well came out clean!

we have just been using whatever was cheap at the time. And if this will make my Kitchenaid Imperial Selectra 21 clean better then it already does, then I think I have found myself a new daily. I will have to pick up a box of the powder here this week.

Finish Gel Pacs

picked up a box of the powder last night, and I cant say I noticed much of a difference really. But, I plan on loading it up this weekend with some very dirty dishes, and we will see how it does!!!
