I just came across this Estate Sale on November 14 & 15, 2008.

If you are interested in anything "Vintage", you'll wish you lived within driving distance of Piscataway, NJ.

Apologies because this link will point to the next estate sale after this weekend (Nov 14-15 2008)! I have captured all of the photos in a MS Word document. So email me at [email protected] if in the future you want to see the photos and I'll send you the file.

Estate Sale

Hi Mike, Thanks for this post. I live approximately 30 min away from Piscataway. Looks like some neat finds here. Got a really busy weekend, but if I have some time I will check it out.

BTW: Where did you find this ad? I would like to find a website that shows these estate/home/garage sales.

Thanks for your help

Ray

Moss lamp

The lamp with the 3 shades and the woman figure is a Moss lamp. These are pretty unique - the base lights up and the woman spins around. I have this same lamp in my basement. These usually sell on ebay for $300-$400. Nice.

Hi Mike,! that looks like a great sale......you and I should make the trip there and haul a lot of that home! We could spend hours browsing in a house like that>!

Estate Sale

Ray, I found this sale while doing a Craigslist search last night.

Jimmy, That is exactly what I thought. There are so many neat and interesting items shown. Is that a GE Mobile Maid Dishwasher in one of the pictures? There is a box of Tide sitting on the item. (Photo next to the one with the green file cabinet).

Wow, seeing that Barry Sadler album was a time warp for me. My parents had it too, and I remember (even as a 4 year-old kid) being attracted to the hunky Green Beret man on the album cover.

Mike, I think that is a compact chest freezer......It looks like it has been covered with wood grain contact paper......boy does that sale look like a goldmine tho!

Hey Mike, Steve D noticed the "woodgrain" item also, and says its a late 50's top load Westinghouse dishwasher, and hes a dishwasher collector like you......so I guess that helps identify that! Boy, I would love to snag that dishwasher for one of you guys......its got to be a rare piece........even with that tacky woodgrain contact paper on it! .........
