Well this suggestion from a post in the Super Forum to try You-Crate for shipping an appliance seemed to work well. It was only $216 to ship a little 200+ lb something from St. Louis to Minneapolis, which is very reasonable. Everything arrived just fine this evening, so we should remember these guys again for future shipping, the shipping company even broke down the crate and took it away so I don't have to deal with that. I said I needed the delivery after 5 so they said no problem, they said they would deliver it 5 to 7pm tonight and it arrived at 5:20pm...

Contraption on Tub Front Wall

Isn't that the patented Apex "Clave-o-matic" ?

Used to sterilze the instruments required for the
very delicate procedure known as the frontaloadot(o)my!!

Oh I'm such a b#$ch

Well its in now, first I have to make dinner, then I will photograph the dear.

Oh and Jamie you are right, its not new but it is extremely rare. and here is a hint...

I have this machine in my basement already, but it came in two models, the basic model and the Top of the Line Model, I have the basic model but what's inside the crate is the TOL model so this will replace my basic model! And all I have to say is its gorgeous!

Food? Dinner?

Who could eat at a time like this??

I mean the overwhelming excitement of getting a new appliance... would take my mind right off of food.

Lots of Work Ahead

Just like when I found my previous Apex Dish-a-Matic the interior had some rust, but it was just surface rust and it scrubs right off with a scrubber pad. This model has stainless steel racks!

Wow check this out this contraption!

And look at this! Can anyone tell what this contraption is on the side of the tub? My basic model never had this feature!

How Do You DO It?

Robert:

I have visions of you walking down the streets of funky old neighbourhoods playing a little silver flute- and the rarest and most desirable of old appliances just jump out of basements and start following you!

Congrats.

How fabulous is that?

~Does that cool Red Triangle light during operation?
But the real question is, can you somehow make it pink?

Oh Samantha, I'm so proud of you! Your powers are getting stronger. Look what you've conjured up now! I just KNOW Darrin won't object.

Do I smell a convention brewing near Canada?

CONGRATS!

Hey Robert - dig the new Apex! Appears to be some sort of light down there - or maybe a fog machine ;-)

Thanks for the tip on YOU CRATE - this could be a great shipping alternate for the hobby!

Yup Mike got it first, its a fabulous glass light fixture. How cool is that, I wont have to go and rig up and interior light in this machine like I have in others. Don't you just love the fact that they took up valuable dish space for an light to light the machine up from the inside during all the crazy water splashment lol, that's so me!

No the cool red traiangle doesn't light up, but the would be a fun feature if it did.

So this is about the fourth or so Dish-a-Matic we've seen, so a Wash-a-Matic has to be out there somewhere??????
