YaY!....... I finally have a FILTER FLO!

Well, the Kenmore D/D bit the dust and I needed a washer for the garage. I found this nearly mint Filter Flo for sale on Craigslist. I went to look at it today and bought it on the spot.It works like a charm, no signs of rust, leaking etc. I am told this has been in storage for nearly 15 years and was owned by an elderly couple who have since passed away.

Anyhow, any feedback from the washer gallery is appreciated. I am not sure of the age, I am thinking maybe early to mid 80's?? Any ideas??

Something about "wood grain" console from the 80's...takes me back to when I was young and would see these lined up for miles in the appliance store.

Did it have the mini-basket and fabric softener dispenser in it too? If not, I believe you can still buy those from part dealers that fit the ramp activator.

Congrats on your new Filter Flo.

Relatives nearby got almost the exact washer with a matching dryer in early 1984. The only difference was their washer had only two buttons, as opposed to the three this one has. For the life of me, I am forgetting for the moment where those are load size, or temp buttons.

The 3 buttons are the speed selections I believe.
- normal/fast
- normal/slow
- gentle/slow

The two center knobs are for water levels (variable + mini) and temperatures (cold, warm, hot, and warm/warm)

Does this machine have that quick cycle? I think it does but not sure. It's got a pretty cool set of timer options. I bet it's a fun machine!

Congratulations Shane! I had a similar machine except with two buttons for the speed control. I think the cycle choices were regular, pp, mini-quick, and regular with extra rinse.
