We've about bottomed out, while the 21st is the shortest day, sunset and sunrise "wobble" around that date. We gain a bit in the evening but loose some in the AM. If I recall the latest sunrise is in early January, but by that point we've gained a few minutes of daylight in the evening so the day is technically longer.
I get a daily update from Bob Moler's blog, he's a bit west of me so the timings are just a bit off, but he always posts interesting celestial info.
