"We Biz Bag! Whew!"

The Biz Bag goes back a little bit further (think it was about '75 through '77), but the principle was as nurdlinger said--the bag was reserved for the really funky stuff that needed Biz.

Anyone remember the Eddie Albert Biz commercials from the turn of the 1970s? Funny that he was a rabid ecologist and he was paid to do those commercials (much like Arthur Godfrey was with Axion!)...

1989?

I was living in LA, thinking how lucky we were to not have the Earthquake that struck San Francico in 1989. A few years later I was transferred to San Francisco and the Northridge quake hit southern California and was thinking how lucky I was to live up in SF. Strange, but I always seem to dodge disaster in my life. Maybe there are guardian angels, after all.

1989

i was probably in some drunken stupor somewhere!!!! trying to figure out WHY I was in the relationship that I was in!! Almost 8 years starting from 1987.......horrible..... don't want to repeat that again! However that or anything else didn't and does not prevent me from having a good time. I still enjoyed myself when I needed to. Life only got better from there.

Well, I guess I dodged a bullet as well. If I hadn't called in sick that day, it would have been quite possible that I would have been on the lower deck of the Cypress structure on my way home at 5 pm, as it was the most direct route home. One guy I worked with had just gotten off that section of the freeway when the quake hit.

1989???

...dealing with the Jan. 8 suicide of my partner. working for one of the baby bells ten years at the time..still there now (29 yrs on the 15th). found out in december that my mom was terminally ill...

but life is good...ten years to the day of the suicide...met the most wonderful person and we are still together...so in the big pic, the circle of life goes on and all is good, but still miss my mom.....

I was in Kindergarten in 2/89, a month before my 6th birthday. I remember being facinated with the rotary phone in the toy kitchen we had. I would turn the dial and pretend to talk on it way too much. There is even a picture of me talking on it in the yearbook. Thus began my love with old stuff. Who would have thought that phone would have spawned this place. When I get it cleaned up, I'll have to post some pics.
