1960's Kelvinator

Yes, Kelvinator (1960's) is correct. Finally after a very, very busy summer last night I was able to actually pick up a wrench and start working on a vintage washer again. YAY.

That's the one

Right now the machine is laying in 1000 pieces all over the workshop, but I will take some more pictures when I have time.

My Dream Machine

That is a gorgious machine, does the white part of the panel light up? I don't think I could handle it if it did!

Hold on

Robert,
Talk about Holding on I just opened the club page for the first time today. And what a surprise seeing the Kelvinator. I wish it was live in my living room. Today is my Bday I wish for very special washers. The world should be filled with frig's and kelvie's. Are you going to make a cd of this special baby? Does the dispensor system work with a siphoning system?

dream machine

That's awesome. Please post pics as you work on it. I have a real soft spot for Kelvy's. Mine was never found after the tornado.

Kelvinator's Wash & Wear Cycle

I'm not exactly sure as I have never had a Kelvinator washer this new before, but I believe it adds cold water somewhere near the end of the wash cycle to cool down the clothes before the first spin. This is Kelvinator's attempt at a Wash & Wear cycle.
