Yes: Another one of these threads. In this thread, post some pictures of your heaviest soils in a dishwasher load. It doesn't have to be "Bob-Load" sort of loading, but whatever you've got counts.

I'll start. We have day old protein, spaghetti sauces and last nights chilli 2, as well as other items. 5 Large plates, 5 small plates, 4 bowls, 5 lunch-boxes (1 of them is the size of two), 10 cups/mugs, Rice-Strainer, Assorted Utensils & Cutlery.

Run on the Delicate cycle (Speed!) with a Rinse manually added beforehand, as we have a new solar water heater - and this preheats the dishwasher and saves us a (whopping) $18 a year ($21 if the water usage wasn't counted). Total time taken is one hour. Rinse -> Wash -> Rinse -> Rinse -> Rinse.

Before and after pics:

Now, that is interesting, Mich!

I never realized that you came into my house on 23/08/2007 and washed dishes in our dishwasher... and took pictures with my camera... and used a detergent that was never used in this dishwasher.

Interesting!

"I never realized that you came into my house on 23/08/2

I'd say that this is definitive evidence that multiverses are real. Clearly mich lives in a parallel universe where Germany is actually North Carolina, 5/15/2013 is 23/08/2007 and he is you with the same kitchen and dishes, but different detergent. Fascinating. You two should hook up.

That's too funny...I was looking at the pics in reply # 1 and thought hmmm I know I have seen those two pics before here some time ago and yep I did, I did see them here before! Tsk, tsk, tsk that ain't right! I knew that Cascade might give performance like this in a Bosch dishwasher but more like Somat or Finish or whatever they sell in Germany. I personally am a fan of Somat since its loaded with phosphates, at least the stuff I bought recently the Somat 3 tabs.
I do like the before and after pics on the Fisher Paykel dishdrawer....I don't miss the one I had that developed Tourette's syndrome in its third year in this house. I couldn't wait to get rid of it. But that's my experience with it, your mileage may vary.

DW Performance

Not only did Mitch's DW do a great job cleaning but it also rearranged the load a little and eliminated a few dishes and added ones that weren't in the original load, one even lost it's pattern and a few even changed shapes and sizes. That is one amazing dishwasher or maybe it's the detergent. LOL.

"^Hey whirlpool_trainee"

Hey, Mitch! :)

Yes, that was the Miele powder I tried back in 2007. Good stuff but expensive.

@ John: wow, I didn't even spot that plate I rearranged (probably because the spray arm bumped into it, thus I moved it to the side).

I also liked this load. One of these days, I'm gonna do a Bob-Load tribute video with all the pics I collected over the years.

Mich,

It pays to come clean.

Regardless of whether that was your load Mitch, it was still technically a harder ask than what I posted.

Dare I say it, but Logixx's Bob-Load probably takes the cake, since the machine is bursting with fullness AND (And) there is plenty of dried on garbage for the dishwasher to handle. Well done! Was this load done on a "Normal" cycle, a heavier or lighter one?

Funny to see that gardenweb thread again. Looks like I started it back when I belonged to that forum. I think I also posted some pictures of some of my loads on that forum as well.

Forgot all about that post, thanks for referring to it anyway, and yes I DID remember the pictures of that load and was confused reading it because I kept thinking it looked like a load Alex posted.

No worry - I wasn't crazy after all, sometimes I can't tell. :)

Alex you still have the same email address? I sent you an email a while back but it was returned.
