My great aunt in Austria had this washer which I used when visiting her. Can any of our European friends identify what model this was and the year it was made? Thanks. Sorry for the grainy scan, looks like it's snowing in there LOL

D 90 series, early nineties

Hi Eddy,
honestly can't idenfy the precise models cause Zanussi made plenty of variations depending of the country where the appliances were supposed to go.
Electrolux already involved since around a decade, yet build quality is still far above current ones

Now an then the Brit boys post some Zanussi shoots. They are more "Zanussist" than italians LOL
Let me manage with the searchalator and i'll post some old link

That is a mid 80's one easily recognisable by the true Zanussi drum, door handle shape and the colour.

The later ones had a lighter shade of grey and revised door handles/dials.

Possibly one of the first ones.

Rob,
you're right they call it D 90 line, but the catalogue has the print "8/85"

I'm also sorry you were offended by my comment on the Hotpoint door.
BTW : how it comes that Aquarius and Margherita series had very similar door while Hotpoint and Ariston weren't yet involved ?

Definitely 1985-1989, this is actually from the C8000 range of machines, machines prefixed 'D' were dishwashers. If you can get a model number I could probably find more information.

Tom.

ReX linea D 90 catalogue cover

Maybe D makes sense to later production. Contemporary codes were :

Zanussi = Z e.g. Z100 = washcraft DW - check on applianceforce.co.uk

Rex = R R100 = same DW branded ReX, in this catalogue there are RG104, RG124 and RG132

Castor = C

Privileg/Zoppas P

Ahh I see, D90 was the styling. C stood for washing machines on the product code, for example my Z9191T washcraft is C80428. My ZFL1023 Jetsystem is C72035.

Sorry for the confusion,
Tom.
