Zanussi Washers and Washer Dryers

AquaCycle...

So was the jet the same as it it is now? Also, out of the WashCraft and the Jetsystem, which cleaned better?

I honestly couldn't say. We got rid of the Washcraft in 1993 (I was 3) and replaced it with a useless Electra thing which I remember being awful. The Jet System came in '96 and was the first washing machine I had that I really noticed the results and started taking notice of the features of the machine, build and performance - rather than just watching it go round and round as a kid.

How dry are the clothes after it has finished?

To say it's only a 1000 spin, a load of towels will only take 50 minutes in the dryer aferwards - so pretty dry

does it change the spin pattern (variomatic/pulse spin) ?

Definately the Zannies have ever been the best italian made washers, along with the real Philco-Bendix

...this old REX . Rex is the main badge used by Zanussi on italian market. Other badges are (were) : (Castor), (Naonis) and Zoppas (this was main Zanussi's competitor - now Zoppas family trades mineral water)

stone aged rotorack dishwasher

mid/late sixties. The detergent dispenser was a "bell" hung up to the rack. A temp-sensible latch caused the "bell" bottom opening when the wash bath reached the target temp.

I have no idea exactly how the spin cycle works with 'easy iron' engaged. I do know that it has a maximum 900rpm though and it does lengthen the cycle.

Our next door neighbor has the FLE 1115 W Aquacycle 1100.It is a good washer but once they washed bath-mats on their own, the washer kept on balancing and balancing until it finally give up and nearly ripped the floor up!

I always wash the bathroom mat set on it's own on 60 degree's. My Mum does the same and I've never had a problem.

When we wash towels, 910 times in most machines i have used, they get unbalanced.Here are some cases (lol):

Our old Hotpoint WM53: We washed a 34 load of towels and on the first spin, i heard something banging so i went into the kitchen and the drum was almost hitting the door so i had to turn it off.It did this twice.

Our new Hotpoint WML 540: Again, i heard lots of thuds from the kitchen but the machine cut out before i got there and give me an error code.I fixed it though.

My friends Whirlpool Inspirations AWM 328: Again, the drum was almost hitting the glass door but not as bad as the Hotpoint WM53. I was thinking to myself," It wont spin". Then, a couple of second later, BANG, boom,boom!The machine actually jumped of the floor.It was only a burst thankfully lol.

Has anyone had any experiences like these? If so, please reply.

..we used to get this a LOT with the old Electra we had but it was never an issue with any of the machines we had afterwards.
