Zote soap!

With all of this talk about Zote, I bought a box of flakes to try. I can't stand the smell of it. I started sneezing violently as soon as i opened the box, almost like an allergic reaction. The smell reminds me of Murphy's Oil Soap, but stronger. I washed a load of sheets with it, thinking the scent might not linger after rinsing. Nope. I had to rewash them because of the smell. Seems like all of the Mexican detergents/soaps have obnoxious scents. I tried Mexican Ariel and didn't like the sweet tart smell of it, either.

The bar or the flakes, but wonder if they are spraying the flakes with extra scent? I can't handle anything overly scented including some of the American detergents. I like The Fels soap scent, it doesn't bother me.

The smell of the white Zote flakes jumped up out of the box and slapped me in the face as soon as I opened it. I have never had something cause me to have a sneezing fit like that.

Did Jim or Gary try the Zote ?
What happened LOL
