What do you all think? Just bought a house and built in 68'. Orginal to the home, makes noise and stuff when I turn it on. Im thinking of getting rid of it, I would love to turn it into a project but the wife wants a new one. And it would be on the back burner for me. Any input would be helpful.

That machine looks like it has been hardly used, if it all. This machine is definitely worth saving for a collection or museum.

The other option is that you can use this machine as a daily driver, however, the plastisol lining does not last long. Most of these dishwashers rusted out in 5-7 years. Other than that is was not a terribly bad dishwasher, perhaps not the best ever built, but in some ways better than a lot of the newer ones.

Looks to be very well preserved! Definitely worth saving - if not by you, by someone.
