Hi everyone, I’m currently restoring a Maytag wringer washer and would appreciate any advice or tips from those who’ve worked on these before.

No, it’s not running at the moment. I’m in the process of rebuilding the washer and redoing the wringer. We bought it a couple summers ago.the thing started smoking and sparking last summer.
